I have just spent four days down south with Sue Jackson and thanks to Damolock, Hillview Lodge, Small Time and Glen Isla, who allowed us to view their lovely herds and made us most welcome with refreshments. OK that translates into alcohol and food, but they all made us feel so welcome. It is amazing to me that the friends I have made through breeding Dexters are so welcoming, letting us stay at their farms, look at their cattle and just have an enjoyable time. I have lots of photos, so will post some after I get home on Saturday.
Also thanks to Glenwarlock, Stoneybrook and Ozziggy, who let us look at their cattle earlier in my stay. It is great to catch up with so many of you while I am here in WA.
I will not miss the hot weather though and can't wait to get home to the cool. Also Flame is due to have her second litter of pups early April, so there is that to look forward to and I have missed our cows as well. Oh and my husband, I have also missed him!! I get home on Saturday and he is flying to Perth on the following Tuesday to deal with some issues on our house here. So it will feel a bit like playing tag or running a relay race, I am sure my life will go back to normal soon. By the way what is normal??
