She was in a small shed and a yard with no feed at all, and me being the softie that I am I thought it would be time for her to come and live with us and have a better life.
Getting her and the piglets into the trailer was interesting, as she did not want to leave them to get on. So we had to catch each of them and put them at the front of the trailer and eventually she got on.
Unloading was much easier and she quickly discovered the grass and straw in her new sty. The piglets also settled well and made a nest in the straw under the lean-to. All was good.
She has been here a few days now and looks much happier, judging by the grunting when she sees us with the food bucket. I have been weeding to give her plenty of grass, and she has the vegie scraps from the house, so she is very content.
I will take some pictures in the next few days.
