Our Border Collies

Picture
Mark & I with Flame and Elvis
And what would a farm be without working Border Collies?

We have three dogs here, Yoda our old girl a short haired black and white bitch who has always been a good worker, but she is getting on now.  So it was time to get a couple of others.

First arrived Elvis (Teakhad Spottin a Storm) a red and white boy who we adore.  He has the nicest nature being a real softie, in fact he is sat at me feet now.  He successfully completed his puppy training and went on to Obedience, where he loves agility and rallyo.  We are hoping to breed with him later this year and already he has admirers who want one of his puppies.

Then in Febraury 2010 arrived Flame (Bucksvale Enchanted Flame) a red and white bitch with different bloodlines to our boy, having some of the original bloodlines from Rhonabwy that I have admired for so many years.  She has grown to be a stunning dog and everyone who sees her agrees.  Muppy as she is affectionately known, has also done her basic obedience and will continue in the new year.  Although she can be a mischievious girl who often has to stop the cushions from running away, they are heading for the door and she has to cut them off, thats her story anyway.  She will eventually be mated to Elvis later in 2011 and we should get stunning red and white pups with great even temperaments.

Stay posted if you love BC's as much as we do!!
